These Professional Anvil Aluminium Secateurs are ideal for tough, woody, and general pruning, helping to reduce strain on the wrist when cutting older, thicker stems.The blade closes against a softer metal on the lower jaw which avoids unnecessary stress on the hand.This does not produce such a clean cut as bypass secateurs, but this is not so important for older growth.These robust pruners have ergonomically designed handles that have smooth plastic inserts and a thumb rest for safety.They have an integrated spring mechanism, an easy-to-use locking mechanism, and a non-stick-coated blade that has been designed to prevent over-extension of the hand.These pruners can cut through stems up to 25mm thick and the anvil block is fully replaceable.A wrist strap is included for ease of ease and storage.
